The true story...

Well, I had to laugh hard when I read what I wrote the last time: sleeping at a hotel? Celebrating the birthday of a sponsor?! Oh my god, I told you that I don´t know the real story...

Now I know!

After the game in Dornbirn 4 of us stayed at Sabrina´s house, including Sabrina of course. It was really nice, typical Bavarian sight with cows, pigs, cats and a bird (who died in the house... yes it´s another very sad story). Nice home made apple juice, home made honey, home made everything (it felt like) and nice atmosphere. The only thing: no heat... but we survived : )

Now to this sponsor thing: I don´t know who had a birthday, but I know for sure: there was no cake! Yes... people who know me know that I was very disappointed!

Other than that, we just had to sit at a table and write autograms and sell season tickets. Well, if anyone would have come will say. But other than 3 people in 2 hours, NOBODY came. So we just kept watching a Robbie Williams live concert in a big screen for sale tv screen drinking our free sodas and mineral waters (with bubble!).

After surviving those boring 2 hours, Sabrina had already left and Hana took her car back to Dachau. Kristin and I had to wait 2 more hours until our train left, so that we can bring our new (but really old) bikes to Dachau (and finally have something to use for travelling!). Those 2 hours were actually really nice, because Hubert took us to our favourite ice-cream place Venezia, a nice Italian man who is actually our sponsor. He invited us for the best ice-coffee in my life (with a lot of vanilla ice) and other ice-scream scoops. mmmm soul orgasm!!!

The part after that was less nice, 2 hours of train followed by change in München main station to the s-bahn to Dachau. It was, of course, pretty full of people because of the Oktoberfest so our bikes had space but our part of the train got really crowded (while the other side of the train was almost empty hahaha).

When we arrived, Kristin realized that her chain is off of her bike... that´s great!!! So we walked to Julie´s place, and she fixed it!!! We arrived home an hour ago, so it took us like 4 hours to get home from our home game city!!!

Now it´s time to get ready for Oktoberfest - again!!!

Peace.

News from last weekend...

Last weekend we won a tournament in Innsbruck, MY city : ) We stayed at a hotel (guest house?), and I wasn´t  disappointed of the very nice beutiful view from the room:

Sunday evening we visited the Oktoberfest for the first (but not last) time this year! Before we left home we made this nice picture with Kristin:

When we arrived to the fest, my sweet Swedish friends Matilda and Anna already waited for us : ))))

We sat in this tent for some beers... it was kind of full!!!

Tomorrow we are leaving for Dornbirn in Austria (again) to play a friendly game. After that 4 of us are gonna stay at a hotel in Sonthofen because on saturday we will celebrate the birthday of a sponsor (I don´t really know the truth story), and in the evening we will try to make another visit at Oktoberfest!!!

Crazy days

Friday (today) is a big day! 2 friends are coming to visit me, but I´ll leave with my team to a tournament - where? IN INNSBRUCK!!!

What else more? Check this out: my old team (Innsbruck) isn´t in Innsbruck. And why? Because they´re leaving to Croatia for the weekend!!! We´ll just pass each other without meeting...

Yeah that´s just typical... well I guess I have to be satisfied with last weekend when we met quite a lot, and the other great news: my good Swedish friends (who I was supposed to play in one team with) Anna and Matilda are visiting me!!! - and of course the Oktoberfest...

At least on sunday I plan to come back from the tournament (even if not on Austrian Autobahn because we won´t buy Vignette), get home and get ready for OKTOBERFESCHT!!! If my plans are as perfect as they always are, I might get my friend(s) from Innsbruck here too, at least Martina. Hopefully they get back from Croatia at a human time!

Then I have to say: friday is not the only big day; sunday´s even bigger!!!

Not to talk about the saturday when I might get to meet Dessi again : )))

We´ll see how everything goes... first of all I have to concentrate on our games at the tournament!

New coiffure...

Home!!!

After 2 weeks of training camp in Italy, we´re finally at home! I´m so exhausted... wasn´t able to sleep so much and got more and more tired every day, until the only thing I wanted was to go home and sleep in my own bed. I had a hard time enjoying the kindness of the hotel personal, the nice sunshine and the beach... and of course the Italian buffé (which after 2 weeks was everything but not new and exciting : )

Now we have/had 2 days off with just a fitness practice and tomorrow early in the morning we leave to a tournament in Austria, Dornbirn. I´m so nervous! My old team VC-Tirol is gonna be there as well, we´re in different groups but we´re probably gonna play next to each other at the same time which will be hard, I hope I can focus on my own game instead of always staring on the other side and see how the new team (with only one player left from the last year´s starting 6) is doing.

I´m tired of writing this now... see pictures from our amazing photographer on our homepage about the whole training camp, day by day: http://www.sonthofen-volleyball.de/ and then click on "Tagebuch aus dem trainingslager", scroll down and enjoy... : )

Pfiati!

San Benedetto del Tronto

I am in Italy now, in San Benedetto del Tronto. The sun is shining, the beach is 2 minutes from the hotel and every second afternoon is off so we have time to enjoy the sun and not only build our team! The food is very nice beautiful, Italian bufé. We´re here for one more week!

What else do I need to say?
