Our first guests & new youtube-clips

Yesterday after practice we had our first guests in our apartment. It was kind of spontanious since we have too much food that has to be eaten before we leave on friday for more than 2 weeks!!! We had tacos, and it was not even my idea! They love it too : )

After dinner vi started watching clips on youtube, and I saw some new funny ones I didn´t know before. I would like to share some of the bests with you here...

Nr.1. I find this one really good, Daft Punks song danced by two girls but look at how creative they are!

There´s also a male version of it and millions of others that tried to do the same, but this one is the original!

Nr.2. Is both funny and not, I feel a bit sorry for the little boy but you have to decide it yourself...

Nr.3. This is about a model who falls twice on the runway and the news ancors can´t stop laughing at her while telling the news...

Nr.4. This one is just so embarrassing... South Carolina´s Miss Teen 2007 has to answer on the question why a lot of the US Americans can´t put the US on the map. Her answer? Well, just listen...

That´s it for now, before I get stuck on youtube I´d better do something more beneficial of my day! Ciao!

Beginning of a new life in Dachau/Sonthofen

About 8 days ago I arrived to my new team in Germany. Our team is Sonthofen but we actually live and practice (mostly) in Dachau, close to München. The apartment where I live is great, and so is my roomie Kristin! (well of course I have to write that because she might read this some time, I can´t hide it from her forever ; ) If you want to hear the truth, learn Swedish and read my other blog (judyka.blogg.se)! No but seriously, she is so funny and because she laughs at everything I say, that actually makes ME feel funny although I´m not! (that´s just a joke I´m just kidding ha ha ha!)

Until now everything is really nice (except for the weather!!!), the teammates are all differently nice and funny, the coach seems to understand volleyball and yeah everything is just very fine! About the weather, I don´t think we hade more than 3 days without rain until now...

The first week there was something called Volksfest which is a smaller kind of Oktoberfest. In one week, I managed to visit the festival 5 times!!! Don´t ask how it´s possible... I´ll answer it anyways!!! Actually one of the times it just happened to be like that when KK and I tried to find our ways home (obviously with no success) and we just happened to find Volksfest instead... after that we continued our way "home", but it turned out to be the opposite direction of home. So shamefully we had to call our last solution, namely our coach Andi who was nice enough to drive us home. Well... another time I visited the festival was spontanious as well: my aunt who lives like 30 minutes from me called and asked if she can visit me in an hour with my two cousins. My friend Martina was already here, cousins came and we went to check out Volksfest again! The other 3 times I went to the Volksfest was with the team, and I guess saturday night was the most fun of all nights! Logically, the worst day was then sunday morning but I will not talk more about that... : )

If someone wants to read our homepage (it´s in German...) here´s the address: http://www.sonthofen-volleyball.de/

Otherwise, to summerize to whole thing:
1. I feel good in my new team
2. I am very excited to play here and
3. There have been a lot of Volksfest lately but it´s over now

See ya!

Finally some internet...

Well, I am on (in?) my new team now and I like it a lot!!! Lot of nice trainings, nice team mates, nice city and most of all: nice and sore muscles!!! Yes... at least I feel that I have muscles : )

The weather here didn´t really welcome us well; it´s raining all the time!!! Oh sorry, I forgot: probably the only time it didn´t rain was when we, after having found an internet cafe, tried to find our way home... we walked for like 2 hours (with a stop eating a turkish pizza included), until we realized that we have no idea where we are! Then we played our last cards, and called our coach who brought us home! Oh god, it´s such a small city and we still don´t know how to find places... it takes a little time, we have a map and soon we will know the name of every little street!!! Oh, I shouldn´t always be so extreme... it´s enough with the name oh half of the streets!

Whatever, it´s starting to get really dark in the volleyball gym where we´re sitting using our wireless connection that finally works! But that fact will not prevent us from sitting here until we get so hungry that our stomaches will take us home although the rest of our bodies and minds still want to sit and chat, read news or whatever one does on the internet...

That´s it for now, I hardly see the letters that I write so it´s time to go on!

A new function on my blog - a countdown function

Well, since I discovered this homepage www.designadinblogg.se, I keep revisiting it and I learn more and more from it! This time I found how to get a countdown function on my blog, and since I couldn´t think of anything better/nicer occasion, I chose a countdown to my 25. birthday!

It´s not the best occasion I would be longing for in my life, so as soon as something more exciting happens I will make a countdown for that instead! (Or parallelly with it... ; )

The English version is here (to stay?!)

The time has come... I will give it a try and write some posts in English. Why? Because I thought it would be nice to give the people I know a good laugh. Not because I am that funny, but because of my English... I don't really know how to speak and write in English, I mean it's ok but not great! And I am sure I am going to make horrible mistakes that people will laugh about a lot, thinking how can someone write so stupid English?

But the positive thing is that writing this blog will give me a motivation to practise and make my English skills better!

Ok... this short post took me forever to write, the words don't really come to me as they do when writing for example in Swedish or Hungarian. Ok, so there's this positive side of this blog: my posts'll not be so long, therefore easier to read : )

Enjoy and don't laugh too hard about my mistakes; you will get stomach ache!

Judy

P.s.: please don't hesitate to comment on my English mistakes, in a helping way of criticizing! Thanks.
